time has flown... kinda. days are hecka long but weeks fly. its nice cause p days arent something that i long for every week, emails are fun but its all part of the cycle.
so on sundays we all have to prepare a talk in spanish on a certain subject then right after the sacrament, they announce who is going to speak haha. anyway, this week was on faith... ya, of course i was chosen. it was actuually really cool and way good for me. it was knida a rough week in some ways, but i loved it! i keep growin every week.. i think.. i hope? haha
OH! this is so funny. so we w ere in relief society and therre are some russian girls. one of them is llike 33 and kinda weird. like she alwasy talks to me in russian but i have no clue what shes saying. and she uses everyones stuff withoyt asking - i mean, its fine, its just really fuunny. but i guess her comp is having a really hard time with her. so we were in releif society and we were talking about perfectionism and she randomly asked about what if we don´t feel supported? long story short, a fight broke out in russian and everyone was arguing with each other abbout how you need to forget about yourself and be selfless, but this sister just wasnt getting it... neither was i really cause you know, i don´t speak russian. but that was definitely a highlight of my week! we got it resolved, just so you know ;)
Oh, speaking of the russians, when we went to the park l¡this last saturday, my comps were two russians... they don´t speak spainsh obviously. it was so fun! i had to do all the talking and trying to translate from spanish to english to russian to english to spainish was an ordeal, but it was a lot of fun. i had the 33 year old girl w me too so theres that! i love them. we talked to some agnostics - so s/o to b.smart. haha it waas really fun to try to see each others point of vieiws, in spainsh.
the language is coming along, poco a poco. its fun.
i love it here. miss you guys. but not coming home.

WOW! k, spain is so pretty. I was gonna upload a piture of the view from my window but i forgot my camera. alsoCCM (MTC) here. iits way hard, but its so good. even if you werent a missionary, its like a training camp on how to study 24/7, have no real life, become really selfless, and learn a language. its rough but its so good. Lets just say the lord has blessed me with a lot of patience and faith. Im loving my companion due to these things. weve been getting along really well lately so thats good.
So on saturdays, we all go to a park in madrid and do street contacts.. in spanish. So like i try to speak spanish to random people. So far its been way fun and actually really  successful. We do splits but the first saturyda, we gave out 3 book of mormons, aand last week, we gave out 4 so that waas fun. Spanish is so easy but its so hard! so much to learn, so little time. but i love it. the work load is fun.
so here´s a couple thoughts for the week that have really hhelped me: everything in the conversion process must happen to you before it can happen to them. If you have questions, as god, not logic. chance is a way god signs things to remain anonymous. the teacher is always silent during the test (of faith ;))
Anyway, its fun here. i LOVE my teachers and the people in my district.
Love you everyone,
Corrie

Wow, why did no one tell me a mission was hard? You guys are the worst. I feel so unprepared.
jk, jk! I love it here. yes, its freaking hard but youre too busy to really realize it. This is literally all i do: sleep, eat, study, eat, study, play soccer for an hour (the best part - these guys are so fun!), eat, study, repeat. Its awesome. Thursdays we go to the temple so thats nice. It is SO PRETTY here! all red. Hey so sorry, but time is super short. If you would, try and keep emails a little short so I can actually reply ;). Love you guys.

Hola!
Well, we´ve been traveling ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT! Í´m kinda exhuasted but all is well. I know pres Bangerter said to write a lot, but there´s not much to tell after just one day. There are only really three sisters (counting me) and probably 25ish guys. They´re all really awesome. Its fun to find out everybody´s stories and make small-world connections. I sat by Elder Hayden Johnson for the first 10 hour flight - turns out he went to lone peak so that was fun. I kinda love that I´m older than most everyone. I´m glad Phil prepared me for clingy and in-your-business companions cause the second I got to the first gate, I went to go to the bathroom and Elder Jack (he wont let anyone forget him) asked me where I was going and said I needed to go to the bathroom.... did he want to go with me? It was literally around the corner. Ha but hes funny. Anyway, our P-days will be on Thursdays, but since we are writing today, you wont hear from me until next Thursday.
Well, thats all for now! So until next week,
Hermana Lamoreaux
ps, everyone speaks Spanish here :/... enough said. ;)
